MONITORING.

Emergency power systems like uninterruptible power solutions and backup generators can communicate through certain hardware with the desired software monitoring systems. From the manufacturers, we offer these communication cards optional, and in some systems, it is provided as standard. Monitoring and/or notifications can be obtained with different interfaces, web-based software –open source– or the manufacturer itself. This can be integrated within VMware and/or be linked to the building management system (GBS, SCADA, etc.). For its brand-independent maintenance, G-Mac has developed a monitoring solution for all brands, see our EPMS (G-Mac Upsystem Power Co., Ltd) solutions. The software can also be used as shutdown software, so computer servers are automatic "down" at the end of the UPS autonomy time.

MONITORING BY G-Mac.

Several customers have outsourced the monitoring of their UPS’s to G-Mac, so they don’t have to worry about it anymore. Fault messages can therefore be viewed proactively and picked up by G-Mac. With our EPMS, we also have the ability to get active alerts via one-way communication, so that we do not have to be connected to your secure internal network environment.

Communication is possible via MODBUS (RS485), Serial (RS232), PROFIBUS, relay contacts, USB, and SNMP. In addition to UPS’s, batteries, and NSAs, we can also monitor PDUs. Protocol Data Units are important for environments with many servers and UPS’s in 19-inch racks like at datacenters. Connectivity solutions can also be used for alerts via email or text messages to users.
